FastTail is the most efficient real-time log file monitoring and log viewer program, the Windows version of the LINUX 'tail -f'. It only has 100Kbytes size and the CPU usage always below 2% when it's running.
FastTail is used to monitor changes to files; displaying the changed lines in realtime.
You can view the last part of a large file quickly without the need to load the entire file, and scroll back to any postion you like.
You can set up some keywords and grip the log file just like LINUX grip command. FastTail do furthermore, it grip the file from any positoin you like ,and stop it by manual, lines and size.
FastTail also support other excellent features : highlight filters, include/exclude filters, recording, bookmarks, minimize to systray and change the icon when new lines come, move the view just like playing a FPS game, international character support. |
