"Ear" is perhaps one of the most simple audio streaming application ever build. It is absolutely free. All the settings are hard coded. "Ear" use the PCM mono audio format at 22.05 KHz and the RTP/UDP multicasting IP protocol for networking. The multicasting group use the 225.25.4.58 IP address and the pair port numbers 5100 and 5101. The TTL parameter is set to 10. You can enable or disable the sound broadcasting by a simple click on the Gmax image. I appreciate if you send me a feedback and tell me something about the results of your test. |
