The goal of MyChineseFlashCards is to ease the visual and auditive memorization of the 1,500 most used chinese characters.
MyChineseFlashCards reaches that goal by :
* using a dedicated dictionary especially designed for the beginners or mid-level learners,
* enabling the user to train to write characters: the character written by the user with the mouse is analyzed and checked by the software,
* decomposing each character into its radicals,
* providing the category of the character, thus easing the process of memorization,
* providing for each character a memorizing tip,
* allowing the user to create his personal lists of characters,
* displaying "look-alike" characters, so as to help the student to distinguish them,
* displaying the radicals in a convenient way, so as to help the student to learn them,
* allowing the user to quickly find a character, searching by "meaning", "pinyin", commentary" or "stroke number",
* hearing the pronunciation of the characters. |
