diskMETA is an easy to use, simple and effective search software providing instant access to any text data on PC or network. diskMETA is specially designed to index up to a MILLION of document files. After installation, the program will index TXT, DOC, RTF, XLS, HTML, XML, PHP, ASP, PDF, CHM-formatted files, as well as ZIP and RAR archives in the forlders you select to be read. diskMETA covers documents stored on local PCs and shared network resources. Simply type in a keyword, and the program immediately (1 SEC) displays all relevant results. Each result includes a portion of the document that contains your keyword, and you can simply click the hyperlink to launch the file in its native application, otherwise the text will be reconstructed. Search query can be refined with standard search operators like in a usual web search engine. Supported morphology: English, German, Spanish, Russian.
